Amy Peters, Partner
Having worked as a Pet Carer & Dog Walker for over 4 years, I felt it was time for the challenge and responsibility of managing and running my own business, and with Gemma, a former colleague, on board as my partner we make a great Pet Care team bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Married with a young baby, living in Bulkeley, right on the edge of the beautiful Sandstone Trail, I maintain a mainly administration and training role within the Team. I am experienced in handling most domestic pets, along with equine care experience (formerly a pony & horse owner myself) and experienced in medication administration including injections.
I have two wonderful dogs, Rogue my Black Russian Terrier and Muttley, my Australian Labradoodle and three hens whom love giving me the run around! Rogue has his Kennel Club Silver Good Citizens Award, trains at agility and is water rescue trained and Muttley also has his Kennel Club Silver Good Citizens Award, trains at agility and is a Pets As Therapy dog!
I am DRB Checked, Canine First Aid Qualified and have completed Veterinary Nurse medication administration training, I work part time training assistant at Cheshire Dog School and have completed a Canine Psychology & Behaviour Diploma with Reaseheath College.
Gemma McKnight, Partner
After working in the corporate world for over 10 years I felt I was truly lacking something in my career. After speaking with my now business partner Amy, who used to walk my Boxer, I decided that dog walking and pet caring was what I needed to fulfil my working life.
I have been working as a pet career for 3 years and have experience in many aspects of the job caring for several different species of animals. I have extensive experience in administrating medication, including injections.
I live at home with my husband Paul, two daughters, Chloe 13 and Georgia 8, my 2 dogs, Mara a 4 year old Boxer and Forrest a 4 year old Alaskan Malamute.
We are an active household that enjoys nothing more than taking Mara and Forrest out on long walks in the countryside. Mara is currently trained to silver standard on Kennel Club Good Citizen Award scheme.
I am fully licensed with Halton Borough Council, DBS Checked, Canine First Aid Qualified and have completed Veterinary Nurse medication administration training and work experience with Cheshire Dog School.

Hayley Jones, Pet Carer, Runcorn
After working as a Legal Secretary for almost 19 years, I was made redundant and saw it as an opportunity to do something I have always wanted to do; work with animals.
I live in Runcorn with my partner Rob of almost 10 years and we are the proud parents of 2 gorgeous Border Collie x Labrador’s; 3 gorgeous tabby cats, Keetah and Simba and Bob who we found as a stray at about 3 months old.
I have gained qualifications in Advanced Dog Walking/Pet Sitting as well as a Canine Behaviour Course along with a Pet First Aid Course. My dream job has always been to work with animals and Creature Comforts Cheshire has given me the opportunity to do that, looking after all animals and ensuring they get the best care possible.
I am DRB checked, Canine and Feline First Aid Qualified, have completed work experience with Cheshire Dog School and have a Feline Behaviour & Psychology Level 3 Qualification.

Andy Brettell, Part Time Pet Carer, Runcorn
I recently moved to Runcorn with my wife Cath, two sons and our black lab, Murphy.
We are a military family with Cath still serving in the British Army. I completed 24 years in the Royal Navy serving in the Submarine Service and have subsequently followed Cath around the country where I have enjoyed a variety of employment opportunities.
I have 15 years continuous experience of dog owning, one with demodectic mange and Murphy, my current Lab with epilepsy. I am fit and healthy, I enjoy the outdoor life and am not put off by the weather so ideal for this job! I am enjoying this new challenge and aim to continue to increase my knowledge, experience & qualifications working for Creature Comforts Cheshire.
Vicki Ryan, Part Time Pet Carer, Runcorn
I grew up obsessed with animals, from watching Animal Hospital religiously to reading my grandad's dog books over and over again, wanting to know everything I could.
Not quite getting the grades I wanted to do zoology, I headed to university to study criminology, but realised during my third year it wasn't what I wanted. I've worked in retail for 3 years, but when the opportunity came up to work part time for Creature Comforts Cheshire, I just couldn't say no!
I have my own dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Alfie, who is spoilt rotten. Working with animals has always been a dream, so I am extremely grateful to be apart of such a wonderful company and team and I am very excited to see what the future brings.
Linda Stagg, Part Time Pet Carer, Warrington
I took early retirement 9 years ago having worked over 20 years in Telecommunications, offering excellent Customer Service and I strive to continue to offer the same excellent service for Creature Comforts Cheshire!
I have lived with my husband Geoff for over 40 years, our 2 children and one Nicola and Anthony are very happily married and I’ve become a VERY proud Nanna!
I have always enjoyed having a pet dog over the years until recently, our 'Alfie' had to be put down. We couldn't face owning another dog, so this position as a Part Time Occasional Pet Carer & Dog Handler is a wonderful opportunity for meto still have contact with a variety of animals and I look forward to meeting and bonding with such wonderful Clients! Now, I can at last enjoy 'going-to-work'!
I am DRB checked and Canine First Aid Qualified.
